Accelerating research through data sharing

COVID-19 in Luxembourg

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Luxembourg has been monitoring the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and its genomic evolution. Keeping track of variants of concern (VOC) and their distribution over time has been key to inform public health actions, and the detailed lineage assignment is also important for contact tracing and cluster managing. This work is the result of the collaboration between LNS, diagnostic laboratories, hospitals and the Health Directorate. Below you can find a summary of some of these efforts.
